Our new website

Welcome to the new version of www.coastguard.se. This website has been developed to meet the new demands on technique, content, function and design.

The use of the Internet has changed since the Swedish Coast Guard launched its former website in 2006. More users will now be able to share the news of the Swedish Coast Guard since the website is connected to social media. The new website is created to meet the demands of accessibility and filing that is made on Swedish authorities.

− In connection to a necessary upgrade of the technical platform we took the opportunity to change the design of the website. We want to increase the knowledge of and interest in the Swedish Coast Guard by using more pictures and films, says Anna Lindblad, project manager at the communications department at the Swedish Coast Guard. She continues:
